PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 25, 2023

 Been writing whenever the opportunity arose, but they were few and far between this past week with winter storms, plenty of household chores and errands along with a lot of other stuff that I won't go into but had to be addressed as the situations happened.

Am still on Chapter 16 of SOLITAIRE 2: THE AGENDA, but have broken the 26,000+ word mark.

Yet I've got to go grocery hunting Monday morning because there's another winter storm predicted for that night well into Tuesday of this week, and who knows what else between now and posting the next Progress Report, which will be on my 61st Birthday next Sunday! 🥳🎂

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 18, 2023

 Well folks, unless the group decides to make a second inning or whatever you would call it to make the story longer, I've finished with the Round Robin I contributed to and am now back on SOLITAIRE 2: THE AGENDA.

Speaking of which, with the kind permission of Ron Fortier at Airship 27, I am able to share a preliminary sketch by artist Chuck Bordell for the first SOLITAIRE novel, no subtitle.

The action/adventure/thriller is to be published later this year by that august company.

The image on the right is of Solitaire's camouflage suit, a unisex outfit that gives absolutely no hint as to the identity of the wearer while being very useful in covert activities.

That outfit plays a prominent role in several chapters of the first novel and will be back again in other SOLITAIRE adventures down the road. Maybe even the one I still working on write right now.

Speaking of which, I better get back to writing or Book 2 will never get finished.

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 11, 2023

 Short and to the point, I'm still working on my portion of the Round Robin story I mentioned last week.

I hope to be finished with it sometime this week and then will resume work on SOLITATIRE 2: THE AGENDA until either that manuscript is complete, my possible second turn on the Round Robin arises or something else comes up.

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 4, 2023

Rocking around the robins.

 I have made some new writing progress on SOLITAIRE 2: THE AGENDA, but had to pause it to join in a round robin story project I previously committed to that is now underway.

For those of you who don't know what a round robin is, a bunch of writers get together and all contribute to a single work, each taking a turn and adding to what the last authors wrote until the tale is complete.

Sorry. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything Batman related. 😉

In any event, three writers have already contributed and it's my turn now. After I complete my contribution it goes on to the fifth person.

Since there are only 5 of us participating in this project, it will go back to the first person afterward who will either wrap up the tale or decide to expand it further and start the cycle all over again for at least one more round.

But until it might be my turn again, I will be back at work on SOLITAIRE 2.
