PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING JUNE 26, 2021

FIRST AND FOREMOST...
I have absolutely no idea what happened to last week's Progress Report!
I know I wrote and posted one.
Or at least, the Blogger system showed it as "Pending" since I wrote it on the Saturday before and timed it for a Father's Day release.
In any event...

SOLITAIRE is done!😎
My last pass brought the manuscript in at 63,285 words and it's now in the capable hands of My Friendly Neighborhood Beta-Proofreader for her final thoughts.
Once I get it back and go over whatever she might have to say, it's on to a potential publisher!😀

Until then, I'm going back over the SCI-FI NOVEL.
Not too worried about the word count (46,771 after 26 Chapters and a Prologue) at the moment.
But I am checking everything written so far to make sure it's as good as humanly possible and that I haven't missed any plot points. After all, we certainly don't want any unresolved and dangling about to get in the way of the reader's enjoyment once it's published.
Of course, obviously when I reach the end of Chapter 26, I'll start writing the conclusion to this novel.

With that in mind, I better get back to it.
Take care.
STAY SAFE!😷
And I'll see you around the Internet.

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDNG JUNE 12, 2021

OKAY...
YES, I am still wearing my Editor's Hat.
NO, I am done with SOLITAIRE and have sent that manuscript on to My Friendly Neighborhood Beta-Proofreader for her final review.
The final word count is in the 63,000+ range, depending upon her thoughts.

I AM going back over the SCIENCE FICTION PROJECT now.
This will (hopefully) not take as long as SOLITAIRE.
For one thing, the manuscript is only a little over 48,000+ words at the moment and besides, I'm only going back over it to make sure I didn't miss any plot points and to punch it up where I can before writing the final chapters.
Then, depending upon when I get SOLITAIRE back, I'll send this on to MFNBP and will still have more work waiting for me concerning Mark Halegua's Team Blue Tribute on the horizon too.

So it's going to be a "busy" Summer for me.
Who needs a vacation when I enjoy my "job"?
In any event, I better get back to "work" now.
Take care.
STAY SAFE!😷
And I'll see you around the Internet.

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING JUNE 5, 2021

Still wearing my Editor's Hat at the moment, but am almost done with SOLITAIRE.
Will have it somewhere in the 63,000+ word range when I send it to My Friendly Neighborhood Beta-Proofreader for her final review before submitting it for publication.
While she is doing that, I will start going back over the SCIENCE FICTION PROJECT I've been working on.
The word count on it is fine at the moment, a little over 47,000+; but with the climax approaching I want to review what I have so far to make sure I didn't miss anything or can add something to make that novel even better than it already is.
No brag, just fact.
Working my butt off to give readers the best prose humanly possible.

With that in mind, I better get back to writing now.
Take care.
STAY SAFE!😷
And I'll see you around the Internet.
