PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 25, 2017

Well, for better or worse, my prediction last week about the week ahead came true.

There were just too many other life commitments to honor that kept me away from the keyboard and writing more than I would have liked.

Now this week so far appears "normal", whatever that means.

In any event, I hope to have at least Chapter 4 of the current HUGH MONN, PRIVATE DETECTIVE story finished by next weekend's progress report, so I better get back to writing now.

See you around the Internet!

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 18, 2017

Okay, after making some serious revisions, Chapters 1-3 of the HUGH MONN, PRIVATE DETECTIVE story I'm currently working on are with my friendly neighborhood beta/proofreader Nancy Hansen, while I'm proceeding on Chapter 4.

The third book featuring the shamus of the far flung future is more than likely going to wind up being an anthology, but how many cases will comprise this volume remains to be seen.

However, the way this week looks, I have medical appointments and other personal commitments every day but Wednesday. So I'll be trying to get my writing done whenever I can, but how much will be accomplished this week remains to be seen.

Better get to it.
See you around the Internet.

2016 BIBLIOGRAPHY UPDATE

It has occurred to me that for some reason, I have yet to update my Bibliography!

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 11, 2017

Hugh, by David L. Russell
Got Chapter 2 of the current HUGH MONN, PRIVATE DETECTIVE story back from my friendly neighborhood beta/proofreader Nancy Hansen and am going over it now.

I will be the first to admit that (in my humble opinion) there are a variety of reasons why a mystery story seems to take more time to create than a tale in any other genre, but I always do my best to make every story I write as good as I can within my human talents.

In any event, I better get back to writing now.
Take care and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING FEBRUARY 4, 2017

The first chapter of the new HUGH MONN, PRIVATE DETECTIVE story, is done and has already been sent to and come back from my friendly neighborhood beta/proofreader Nancy Hansen.

I'm well into Chapter 2 now, so I better get back to writing.

Take care, and I'll see you around the Internet.
