PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 7, 2024

 If I ever find that "Murphy" guy, I'm gonna force him to repeal that infamous law of his—anything that can
go wrong will—immediately!

I'm probably far from the first person who ever said that, but it certainly happened a lot to me this past week.

I only got another chapter or two from SOLITAIRE 2: THE AGENDA proofread at the most with absolutely nothing else accomplished at all on the writing front, let alone anything on ZEPHYR LILY.

I accomplished plenty if you count cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, errands, et al and ectaras.

But writing?🤣

I hope this coming week will be better, but we'll see how it goes.

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 7, 2019

This past week was more research than anything else.

Daytime view of Tokyo, Japan.

After all, if you're going to set part of your story someplace you've never been, you still want to be as accurate as possible even if what you're creating is basically a work of fiction.
SOLITAIRE is still in Tokyo, Japan and Chapter 13.
I HAVE passed the 31,000+ word mark though.
Hopefully will at least finish the current chapter this week, especially since the writers' group is scheduled to meet again soon.
How long the Tokyo section, let alone the overall novel will go though...
With the holidays🎄 approaching, will have to take it all one day at a time but any writing time I do get outside of honoring my blogging commitments will be spent on this novel.

PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 7, 2013

Well the weather outside is frightful
But the keyboard is so delightful
So as long as the power's on
Let me write! Let me write! Let me write!

Not really much to report since last week.
It took a little longer than I thought it would to finish making corrections to that last short story. Some other authors and myself are contributing to a shared anthology, and I was trying to figure out how/when Character A could be with Character B when that character was actually somewhere else at the time.

But I am thankfully back at work on Alpha, Book 2: Wayward Son now.
That manuscript will definitely be finished in the early part of 2014, although I certainly can't make a more exact prediction at this point.
Otherwise, am trying to prepare for the holidays and winter while taking care of The Free Choice E-zine and a few other things.
