A BRIEF THOUGHT AND TIDBIT ON WRITING
Hugh Monn |
Just got Chapter 5 back from my friendly neighborhood beta/proofreader, so I'll pause working on Chapter 6 now and go over it first.
Wish I had more to report, but other than typing away on a keyboard, writing in and of itself isn't that exciting, per se.
It's what you write about and how you feel about your writing that gets the brain and heart pumping as you sit down in front of your system and fill the monitor with words.
And in truth, I'm pretty good on both aspects.
But while I don't want to give away any spoilers in regards to my work, I can share tidbits now and then with you.
So now, without further adieu, the opening paragraph to Chapter 1 of the third Hugh Monn book!
Life
had been treating me pretty well of late. My relationship with
Captain Sandra Bunnae of the Beach Patrol was getting enjoyably
serious. The only complication was whether or not to fully disclose
my past to her and how Sandy would react once she learned the truth.
I certainly wasn’t lying to anyone about my feelings toward the
Leporidaen lady, but a lie of omission was still a lie.
Wish I could share more with my readers and fans, but like I said, I don't want to spoil the fun before the book comes out.
Better get back to writing now.
Take care, and I'll see you around the Internet.
